Geekvape really kicked it back to the old days of vaping with this mod. Maybe I'm biased, but I find it rather enjoyable. The minimalist design makes the mod super light weight, having these gorgeous resin panels definitely kicks it up a notch. It is using the very familiar AS200 chip that we've seen in the majority of Geekvape's regulated mods, so the user interface is super easy to get into. It now features a color screen, as well.
With power output up to 200w, powered by dual 18650 batteries (not included!) and a full temperature control suite, the new Nova Kit should handle most anything you can throw at it! Included with the kit is: 1x Usb cable, 1x spare o-ring bag, 1x spare coil (1x already installed!), and 1x spare glass for the Cerberus sub-ohm tank.
Build Quality & Design:
The Nova Kit really added a few bars of respect to Geekvape in my department. The overall quality of the device is totally on point. Everything works and fits together effortlessly. The button clicks are super smooth and the entire device just fits flush. The Cerberus tank is so very similar to the Aero Tank that came with the Aegis Legend, that I can honestly have a hard time telling them apart - when actually using the two. Being that they both utilize the same Supermesh coils, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Overall everything is machined perfectly and I had no issues with the device.
In my opinion, this is one of the better mods that Geekvape has put out recently. I was not a big fan of the Blade Kit, due to its' enormous size, and I was not a big fan of the Aegis Legend for daily use, as it too was rather clunky and large. This device is a bit smaller, easy to carry around, and significantly lighter than the Aegis Legend. The Cerberus tank is nothing new but does deliver the consistent flavor and cloud production I have come to love from Geekvape Supermesh coils.
Overall the Nova Kit by Geekvape is a great mod for entry level vapers. More advanced vapors will find nothing really new or super innovative about this kit. If you're a lover of all things resin, as the market seems to be lately, then you'll definitely love the different color schemes available, 200 watts of output, the Temperature control suite, and super user friendly interface.
