I noticed another customer had the same issue. The coils are listed as 3mm ID but are actually 2.5mm. That wouldn't have been an issue normally if I could've used my 3mm jig to fix them but one of the coils is about 1mm shorter than the other so there's no leads left after 5 wraps. I don't use 2.5 ID so I paid $5 for 1 useful coil.

I love aliens and have hear exceptional things about Ohm Science, so for 5 bucks, why not give them a try. I purchased the Ni80 - ID: 3mm 0.16 Ohm - 3-28/36 to see how they worked. I have yet to install them, because upon arrival they turned out to be 2.5mm in diameter, instead of 3mm. This is not really a big deal, but when I installed them in my Drop, they ohmed out at about .08 and that was a little to low for me. I dropped one in the Recurve and it ohmed out to about 0.17, but did not really fill up the Recurve very well. They stood off the airflow a little to far for my liking. I plan to install one in my Drop Solo and see how they vape here before long, and will be glad to update y'all when I give them a try. The are beautiful coils, tight winding, and amazingly clean. I would just be sure to check the size when ordering them.
