The first one showed up cracked. MyVpro stepped up and replaced it, but the second one arrived and the door alignment for the battery is just atrocious. Both sides of the mod bulge outward so they're about 1/16th" wider than the door on each side. I put a tank and a battery on it and vaped it a little bit, and the chip seems to be pretty weak. Ramp time is really slow and I'm not sure it ever made it to temp in the time it took me to hit it normally. I suppose if someone were strapped for cash and needed a mod really bad, this would do the job, but it's just not on par with the average single-cell device out there right now, not to mention the 26650 devices out there. I get much better hits from pretty much any 18650 single cell device.

For the sale price getting a 26650 80w mod seems like a steal. And indeed it was! The mod itself is metal but the way the battery door fits makes it feel almost plasticky. The magnets are good but the seems dont line up perfectly so its annoying. The buttons are extra clicky and nice. The board on the other hand is excessively picky and cannot handle chain vaping at 65w + for more than about 8 seconds without giving a too hot warning. And the 510 connection is garbage but once you get your attomizer to read correctly its good to go until you change your battery. Battery life with a 26650 is amazing and even with an 18650 it was suprisingly good. Over all its a good ****** mod or backup but unless your hard up i wouldnt want it as a all day everyday dependsble mod.

It's a great looking mod with a nice, ergonomic feel to it. The chip is very responsive and the menu is easy to navigate. It is the tallest mod in my collection-taller than my Paranormal, Battlestar 200, Exus Ark... everything. It has issues, though. 1. I'm glad I bought two of'em. I accidentally knocked one off a table to a wooden floor and the top of the mod cracked, knocking the tank back and leaving the top section crooked. It works, but it's only a matter of time before the top section breaks away. Magnification shows that the body is thin cast aluminum. It will not hold up to any rugged treatment, even without the damage caused by my own clumsiness. Also, the battery door does not close up properly. There is a visible gap between the bottom and top of the door and the case. 2. Temperature control is a mess. I've only tried it with SS316L wire, but I've tried it in the mod's 316, TCR and Joules modes and none of them are good. 316 mode has a temp coefficient that's way too high and produces a vape that's too hot. TCR starts with a default value of 0.0055. The industry norm is 0.0088 to 0.0093. Turning the mod up to that level cooks the wick with a second! Even 0.0055 is too hot. I got something vapable at around 0.0045. Even that was inconsistent, leading me to believe that cold resistance is not being locked by the mod. There's also no way to set the starting wattage, which means that the mod is firing at 80W. This puts a real strain on the battery and shortens battery life. I don't know what's going on in Joules mode because there's no way to change the energy level! The price is right for a decent, single-cell mod for wattage only. It looks good, it feels good and it does ok in wattage. If you want a high accuracy TC mod, you want something other than this.

It works well for a bare knuckle. Nothing flashy, just dependable. Glad I picked a couple up
