GeekVape G Replacement Coils
Geekvape G Replacement Coils
Geekvape G Series Coils are the genuine replacement coils for Geekvape's MTL pod kits, sold in packs of five and built for the low end of the power range - 7W to 18W. This is the coil series behind the Aegis Pod, Wenax Stylus, and Wenax C1, and unlike Geekvape's sub-ohm lines it is designed for a tight mouth-to-lung draw rather than clouds. All five builds use Kanthal A1 mesh, which heats faster and more evenly than round wire and pulls more flavor out of the higher-PG e-liquids these devices run. Five resistances cover the range: the 0.6ohm at 13-18W produces the most vapor and the warmest draw, the 0.8ohm at 12-15W steps back slightly for a cooler hit, the 1.0ohm at 10-12W balances flavor against battery life, the 1.2ohm at 9.5-11.5W gives a tight, stealthy vape, and the 1.8ohm at 7-9W is the tightest and longest-lasting of the series. Installation is press-fit - the coil pushes into the base of the pod with no threading and no tools. These are built for 50/50 blends and nic salts, not high-VG e-liquid.
WARNING: This product is intended for use with nicotine-containing e-liquid. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. For adults 21+ only.

Choosing Your Resistance
- G0.6 (13-18W) - warmest draw with the most vapor, closest to a restricted DTL pull
- G0.8 (12-15W) - strong flavor with a cooler hit and solid vapor production
- G1.0 (10-12W) - balanced flavor and battery life, a good everyday middle ground
- G1.2 (9.5-11.5W) - tight, stealthy draw with a stronger throat hit
- G1.8 (7-9W) - tightest draw and longest coil life in the series. Best for high-strength nic salts and maximum battery efficiency
FAQ
Q: Which devices do these coils fit?
A: The Geekvape Aegis Pod, Wenax Stylus, and Wenax C1 are the primary devices. G Coils also fit several other Geekvape MTL kits including the Wenax S-C, AP2, and G18 series. Check your device before ordering.
Q: Are these the same as B, P, or M Series coils?
A: No. Geekvape runs several separate coil platforms. B Series fits the Aegis Boost and Aegis Hero. P Series fits the Aegis Boost Pro and Obelisk 60. M Series fits the Z Max Tank. G Series is the low-wattage MTL line for Aegis Pod and Wenax devices. They are not interchangeable.
Q: Which resistance should I choose?
A: Check your device's wattage range first, then match the coil. Most Aegis Pod and Wenax Stylus users run the 0.8ohm or 1.0ohm for a standard MTL draw. Go to 0.6ohm for a warmer, more open pull, or 1.2ohm and 1.8ohm for the tightest draw and longest coil life.
Q: What is the 1.8ohm for?
A: It runs at just 7-9W, the lowest in the series, which makes it the tightest draw and the most efficient on battery. It suits high-strength nic salts and anyone wanting the closest thing to a cigarette pull with minimal vapor.
Q: What e-liquid should I use?
A: 50/50 blends and nic salts. These are low-wattage MTL coils - high-VG e-liquid is too thick to wick reliably at 18W or below and will cause dry hits. The 1.8ohm in particular needs thinner, higher-PG liquid.
Q: Do I need to prime a new coil?
A: Yes. Drip e-liquid onto the cotton ports, fill the pod, and let it sit five minutes before firing. Skipping this is the most common cause of a burnt taste on a fresh coil.
Q: My coil tastes burnt after a few days. What went wrong?
A: The most common cause is running above the suggested wattage for that resistance. Each G coil has a narrow window - staying inside it matters far more here than it does on a wide-range sub-ohm tank.
Q: How long does a coil last?
A: Typically one to two weeks depending on usage and e-liquid. Higher resistances last longer because they run cooler - the 1.8ohm will outlast the 0.6ohm noticeably. Sweetened and dark e-liquids gunk coils considerably faster.
